Our Club
We have an excellent reputation for competitive bowling
combined with the friendship and fellowship with which bowls is
associated. Our members have represented Scotland nationally and
internationally at all levels: the World Bowls Championships, the
Commonwealth Games, the British Isles Championships, and, just as
important, at Lanarkshire County level where the game is fostered
and has its roots. Our members derive great pleasure from bowls,
but are conscious also of the needs of their local community and
we seek to encourage contact with local schools in bowls coaching
and welcome other local groups and organisations to participate
in the use of the facilities, as indeed they do.
